Abby's Birthday Party

Saturday was Abby's official birthday party. The theme was "favorite colors" but with nearly 20 kids in the house, you would have thought it was "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."

It was a great time of games, a pinata and friends, but what stole the show was a gift Abby received from a girl in her preschool class: a live butterfly display. Their family raises (farms?) butterflies for special events, weddings and (apparently) 5-year-old birthday parties. You can check out their website at www.vibrantwings.com.

Needless to say, everyone was impressed. Abby got to enjoy the butterflies for the day and then we released them on Sunday.
