Hard to believe, but today is our sixth wedding anniversary. In years past we've celebrated by going out to a nice dinner and maybe a trip to the movie theater. This year we got Chili's to go and watched a rented DVD, but still enjoyed it.
The kids played inside mostly, due to a rainy afternoon, but they got to relax in their comfy chairs and watch the movie "Cars" for the 18-billionth time.

Lorena got some more tummy time and has become quite good at lifting up her head, especially with Abilene cheering her on.

And this past week April finally got her birthday present: a new stove.
It was delivered on Sunday but a knob was broken during installation. We must have purchased a very special stove with rare knobs, because it will take 3-5 weeks for it to be shipped, even though there's a store just down the road from us.
Makes me a little worried if we break something really important. Brody could be in junior high before we ever got a replacement for a bent rack or broken burner.
