Sure, it's only pre-school, but it was still a surreal experience for us. We dropped him off (he had no problem running into a room with toys and other kids) and took Abilene and Lorena off to the Woodland's Children's Museum, where they got to play and enjoy some attention, as the ratio of kids to parents was 1:1 (I took the day off work).
Ironically, Abby and Lori got to play pretend school while Brody was off doing the real thing.
Brody had a great time at school, so much so that he didn't want to leave (there may have been a minor crying incident, but we'll just chalk it up to first day jitters). Needless to say, it was a full day for everyone, especially Mom and Dad, who are thankful for such great kids, but also very thankful when they went down for bed.
