Another Halloween has come and gone, but this year was probably the best so far. April did a tremendous job with the church's Fall Festival. It was a great success and all the kids had a lot of fun (and some grown-ups too). Then we headed back home for some actual trick or treating.
This is the first year we've done full blown TOTing, and we had to review some etiquette before going out: Be nice, say "Thank you," don't cross the street, laugh and point out lame costumes you see. You know, the basics.
The kids did pretty well, but we forgot one rule: stay on the porch. At the first house, Lorena just decided to walk through the door and make herself at home. But who can blame the youngest child for being a little spoiled?
However, despite our efforts to keep them out late and withhold sugar-laden candy from them, they were still up today before 6 am. Thanks for nothing, Daylight Saving Time.
