When I checked on our new house today, the electricity was off. Apparently there was some mix-up with our provider and they cut the power. After a frustrating three hour bout with "customer service" and three levels of supervisors, the best we can hope for is power to be restored sometime early next week.
So, here's what our house looks like at the moment:

A frustrating circumstance for sure, and it marked the first time I've ever drained my cell phone's battery. Hopefully we'll emerge from the Dark Ages soon. In the mean time, our Homecoming is delayed, yet again.
