A big thanks to Tom and Debi Connell for watching Brody and Abilene this weekend. They offered to take the kids, giving April and I a chance to get the rest of the house unpacked, paint, hang things, clean up and other tasks that just seem to take longer with two attention-loving kids around.
We got a lot done, but obviously missed the kiddos. They had a great time with G and Copper though, going to Chuck E. Cheese and getting spoiled for 48 hours. We had a good time too, getting the opportunity to go out to dinner, sit at a table next to several families with kids and not have to worry about any of them. It's the little things in life, it really is...
So the house is almost in order. Soon we'll shoot a video tour of the new Casa de Roche for your viewing pleasure. In the mean time, we'll just let you continue thinking it looks like this:
