I tried to convince them they'd like the Rose Bowl because of all the pretty flowers, but that just resulted in a huge eye roll from April and more pleading from the girls.
Finally, I turn to my son to help bolster the pro-football argument, but his reply was, "No, I want to watch the Little Mermaid one."
I was outnumbered and betrayed by my own son. What a great start to the new year.

Just because I rolled my eyes doesn't mean I wouldn't have rather watched football. Let's face it, I probably would have rolled my eyes anyway. ;)
